Idaho Reception

Idaho reception
Our Idaho reception was held in 360 Main Event Center (348 4th Ave. S., Twin Falls, ID). It was the most perfect place! This place used to be a club and then an event company bought it and remodeled it. It looks a little rough from the outside. It just looks like an old, run-down building, but it is beautiful inside. The place is huge! There was room for a dance floor (which was a must for me), for tables, for sitting, for food, and more! There was couches in corners that we placed around. There was a little upstairs area in the corner that overlooked the entire reception center and a small room for the bride and bridal party to get ready. It was perfect. The building had wood post down the middle, brick walls, hanging lights, and a garage door that opened up, if needed. The building had an elegant industrial theme and so that was what I wanted as the theme for my wedding. I seriously could not have had a better place for my reception.
My mom did most of the wedding decoration planning (almost all of it). She is so talented and I knew I could trust her to make it look beautiful. I just told her what I liked and she made it better than I could have imagined. My grandmother also helped with tons of the decorations. They both made a HUGE fireplace out of wood for it! They're amazing and I'm so grateful for all that they did to make this day perfect. We luckily got the best DJ in town and he directed the entire ring ceremony and wedding reception.
We had a ring ceremony at 6:30, and then the reception followed. I'm so happy I did a ring ceremony, just because there are many of my family members that could not watch me get sealed in the temple, including family that was too young (my siblings). I'm so happy they were able to see a ring ceremony and Tyler and I both are very glad we had one! Before I walked down, my uncle, Derek (behind all the pictures), made an amazing video!↓

The Ring Ceremony

My home ward bishop, Bishop Walker did the ring ceremony.

That smile, all due to me!👆

To get Oakley to walk down the aisle with Jeremy, it took some lying. We told Oak that Jeremy (the guy with the mustache), had lots and lots of puppies! He showed her a bunch of pictures of his neighbors dogs on his phone and she loved him!

Thea (not even 2 yet) was our cute flower girl! She was hilarious and adorable. She was not having it with her headband (as you can see) and just dumped a few flowers on the floor in one spot😂 I was trying to prep Colt to help her because "she is little," and all he replied was, "I don't wanna hold her hand."😂 He was staying as far away as he could from her!

She is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

He had a VERY important job as "ring barrier" (as he called himself😂) and took it very seriously! Oh, but he is the cutest!

The Groomsmen, Bridesmaids, Ring Bearer, and Flower Girl

Wow. My man is the HOTTEST thing out there!

Colt did end up holding her hand for at least one picture!

 The  Party

One of my favorite things that we did was a Newspaper for our wedding day. In the newspaper we had meet the bridesmaids and groomsmen, our love story, a questionnaire about each other, cross-word puzzle, and more!

We had ice cream at the reception because that was our first date...Aggie Ice Cream!

My grandma made these incredible ice cream cones out of cement!

These are toys my little siblings had that my mom cut and spray painted!

My mom made this sign. It's our first dance song's chorus.

For my birthday, Tyler sent a package of a 6 pack of Jones Sodas to my house. On the label, he had a picture of us and then a little message to me:
"Happy Birthday Lex! I'm so grateful for you and for how happy you make me. Here's to our amazing future! I love you to forever and back! -Tyler"
He is so sweet and I thought it was the most thoughtful gift! We decided to order these Jones Sodas with a new picture every year for our anniversary!

First Dance

We danced to "Close Your Eyes" by Michael Buble. Tyler always sings Michael Buble songs to me and this one is our favorite!

Cutting the Cake

Someone pointed out that it looks like he is about to stab me😂

 Bouquet & Garter Toss

We used a small white basketball and wrapped the garter around the ball. The ball said, "You're Next!" and then Tyler signed it! I loved this idea!

 More Party

Colt was HILARIOUS and so cool! He danced the entire night and throwing down the best dance moves!

Austin and Dallin bought these $50 dinosaur suits so they could come out and dance at our wedding in them! It was a hit for all the kids and the adults!

I seriously couldn't get enough of him...and still can't!

Don't need beer to have a CRAZY party

This is the greatest photo caught that night!
Mom: "kakakakakakaka"
Dad: the happiest smile I've ever seen!

 The Send→OFF

This was so sad...Oakley was bawling before I left and kept telling me not to leave. I almost cried myself.
Earlier that day, after the sealing, Tyler and I went to my house and Oakley was bawling because she was "mad at me." She was mad at me because I got married, but she was not at all mad at Tyler. She should have been! It's his fault really.

Tyler's groomsmen went to town on our car! There was lube condoms all over the car and wrapped around everything (Tyler did not like that), sex position cards, this sucker, nipple candy dangly things, and much more!
